My 3 Favourite Crystals to Meditate With?

I've had a love affair with shiny sparkly things for my entire life - especially crystals!


I remember going on holidays as a child and I'd always find the nearest crystal shop and would spend hours in there and would spend all of my holiday money!


My love of crystals has only heightened over the years and my collection of them has grown!


It's not just because they attract my eye though - my love of crystals goes far deeper than that.


I find crystals a really helpful aid in my daily meditation practice and these are my top 3:


  1. Clear Quartz - this was the very first crystal I ever bought and I still use it to this day every morning when I meditate. Clear quartz is also known as the ' Master Healer' because it has this amazing property of amplifying the energy of all other crystals.

    It is a 'feel better stone', improving your quality of life and energising you. It is also a great stone for getting rid of negativity and most health issues. This is my ultimate fave.

  2. Amethyst - my house is absolutely littered with these! I love purple as it represents transformation and this crystal is incredible. Amethyst is such a calming stone and is great for mental and emotional balance. If I ever stop wearing my amethyst jewellery I always notice I'm much more up and down emotionally. This crystal makes me feel less scattered and more tranquil particularly when I'm meditating.

  3. Rose Quartz - this crystal is like a bubble bath for the emotions! Mine is a small round orb and when I hold it - it is instantly calming. Rose quartz helps to open up the heart chakra and promotes feelings of self love and compassion.


I hold these crystals when I meditate and feel other worldly and floaty which is my favourite place to be!


I keep a small stock of crystals in my therapy room so if you are local and looking for some extra energetic support or want to try meditating with them ~ come and have a browse of my treasures!
