HOLISTIC THERAPIST

As a Mum of 3 lively children, I know first-hand just how important it is to find time and space to relax and take care of your physical and mental wellbeing. I am a huge advocate for self- care as I spent many years not prioritising myself, so I retrained as a holistic therapist and now try and practice what I preach as much as I can!

I am a Licensed Rapid Transformational (RTT®)  Practitioner having trained with Marisa Peer and am a Certified Hypnotherapist. My life experiences to date have always shown me the power that the mind has on everything that we do and if we have the right tools and know how to dialogue with ourselves, we can transform our lives emotionally, mentally and physically.

Meditation and Reiki are my passions and I practice them both daily and find they really help to anchor me to the present moment. In 2010 I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and for 10 years struggled with the debilitating symptoms of the illness. Since training in Reiki & RTT  I have developed a ‘self-care toolkit’ that I utilise when life gets busy or stressful and it helps me to stay calm and centred most of the time! The MS is now in remission and I feel so grateful that I have had these treatments at my fingertips as I now feel that the past is far behind me and I am the person I used to be before the illness took hold.

I also practice yoga regularly and love spending time in nature, reading, listening to music and playing with my children. I enjoy long walks in the countryside with my dog and love the great outdoors.

 

Having been a nurse for 10 years I am a compassionate and empathic person and I value the importance of human connection. I like to think that this is reflected in all of the services I offer.
